People are stupid to put so much information on the internet, so they will get what they ask for. Even banking on the internet isn't safe there is to many people ho can hack into anything which could cost you money down the line.

Our life is a show because people want it that way, they get to have their picture and hold life for everyone to see thinking I am great.

I don't think most young people have a notion of what they re creating for themselves. I have two teenage daughters, it's not easy explaining the potential dangers to them!

    Greetings, Paddy Ryan!! :)

Co-op researchers went online to look at social media sites, including Facebook and Foursquare, to see how easy it is to trace an address for someone on holiday.
The quickest discovery took just one minute.

Geesh. This is frightening. I saw a news program that pinpointed a person's exact address within moments of that person posting such an update on Facebook.

Hi, Lauhal. I don't think we should be paranoid, but a little bit of privacy is good :-)

The times, they are a-changing indeed.

    Cheers.
